There is no way to describe chain reaction of fear and mental health decline during this crazy pandemic event. Mother nature will run its coarse, and we all have to stay at home. I am lucky because I live in a remote, wild area of the Arkansas Ozarks where I explore the forests, search for morel mushrooms, watch birds, listen to frogs and smell the myriad of spring flowers, and this is the only way I am able to stay mentally healthy. My heart goes out to folks who live in urban areas and do not have access to the healing powers of nature. Natural Habitat has collaborated with all of our 125 naturalists worldwide and developed a way to bring nature to people at home. We are doing 5 webinars per week, on a variety of subjects. These webinars aren’t focused on marketing trips, but instead, we are sharing our knowledge and respect for nature the only way we can these days. I kicked off the series with a webinar on why we love bears, and how that love helps save our planet as bears are an “umbrella species “. Check it out Below!
This series will be a great way for people to focus on beautiful things in the world, and places we will be able to explore when this virus passes, just as all the pandemics in the past have. I do believe that this is a good reminder that mother nature is in control, and it has the power to bring mankind to a grinding halt. Something as powerful as this deserves respect in the future, such as the looming threat of climate change.
So please tune in. There will be so much really cool content. We really hope kids at home can get some lessons on nature from us. Here is the schedule for the upcoming week!
